Hi, I've been searching for a method to sculpt smaller areas for landscape style concepts. Typically area Lots are residential landscaping (approx 80-50sqm) & I have contours provided for the site which I then Drape a surface over. Is it possible to triangulate the area & be able to sculpt in smaller zones. Do I need to use smaller triangulated areas & what Tool or Plugin would be the best to work with to achieve this. Mainly I'm trying to achieve various different gradients, random step downs, low walls etc. Mostly wall type features are created separately with SKP. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've been using the Stamp Tool & then Soften/Smooth Edges but find this limiting when editing.

"stamp tool" implies OP is using Sandbox.

I prefer to use Topo maker or Instant terrain or some other method to have a regular grid to work with rather than the results of Sandbox. Then Artisan or Vertex tools to manipulate. You might try SandBox add detail.
