I can't find a plugin that does this, and it would save me loads of time. Often I am importing dwg files into sketchup 2015, and it comes in with all the layers, which is great.

However, I often do not want all the layers shown.

What would be easiest is if there was a plugin/ruby to send each individual layer to a scene, with only that layer. The scene would for obvious reasons be named by the layer.

Then when I work within Layout, I can use/select any individual layer from the dwg file.

Anyone know if this already exists, or a work around?

      Thanks in advance!

If possible, please post a sample model,ver<=2014.

Nothing is worthless, it can always be used as a bad example.
