Triangulate Landscape
-
Hey guys,
I have been trying to create an abstracted landscape in SketchUp to no avail. What I'm trying to do is fetch the topography from the geolocator tool, and then drastically reduce the number of polygons in the topography to create a landscape of triangles that mimics what the actual topography may look like; a result something like this:

Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers

It' already triangulated so what are you trying to do, make it more crude and exaggerated?
You could stretch it vertically and unsmooth, but reducing the polygons? that may have a plugin--IDK.

PS--might get a cruder polygon pattern by sampling larger area in geo-location?
