Need help with Curve Maker

Im trying to use this plugin http://sketchucation.com/plugin/862-dm_curve_maker_plugin and I have hard time with it.
First of all, I tried to draw an Archimedes Spiral, but I don't understand some of the steps implied.The inputs are as follows:
1. From Turns ( ?? - what is this ?)
2. To Turns ( ?? - and this ?)
3. 1st Radius (i assume is the inner radius)
4. 2nd Radius (outer radius ?)
5. Sider/Turn (segments in each turn)
6. Height (got this)
7. Clockwise (and this too)Then, I tried to draw a Cornu Spline, I have that blue preview line, i click to add nodes, but I cannot generate the spline. Anything I do, the best, it cancels. Is there a special thing to do, in order to validate it?
