Are those two versions of the same space, one with stained wood trim and one with painted? Or is there a transition between the two that doesn't appear in either image? -
Daniel, You always seem to catch the inconsistencies. You have a good eye.
I did the Great room first not knowing that I would be doing the adjoining kitchen.
I made the command decision for it to be wood to match great room.
The client then decided to have me do the kitchen and wanted The peninsula cabinet to be changed to white to match kitchen.
I wonder what they will do in the real world...That cabinet is kind of in a pivotal area being a visual transition point for kitchen/dining/foyer/great room.
I guess my opinion would be for it to be wood and change the cabinet type to maybe have feet and not be part of the kitchen cabinets proper.
That one is many projects in the past, probably already built, so I guess I wont loose any sleep over it.
