Draw concentric lines (there is a plugin by Tig for that)
radial line and radial line Fixed length
Then a little plugin by Didier Bur (Lines2tubes)
Use Component if you want put some thickness -
I would search for one of Taffgoch geospheres and replace the components with tubes.
As I did here.
I have first drawn a line from the center of the components to the guide point he placed in each of them, then I have drawn a tube on that line, then I scaled down the inside part of the tube .
Scaling down the inside of the tube is optional, if you want you can make them shorter and smaller in diameter. -
