On looking at the above image I had to smile, it was a WTF smile! After viewing further detail images I smiled again, a that could be fun to see up close smile.

I would however like to see how the whole building works before reaching a final opinion.

While I understand the need for creativity and individualism, I do ask myself 'why'?

It must have been a nightmare to lay the bricks on that job

Why would that be something of a nightmare instead of a dream come true. Wouldn't a brickworker feel a greater significance in his work with a tough job instead of the dull and regular everyday work?

Having said that I see no creativity here except on the brickworker side. Frank Ghery has done that countless times, now in brickwork. In Prague it was very cool, then it was repetitive, now it's boring, in the future what will it be?

How can people adhere to this?

I just don't have it in me to dislike his work. Great job Frank and team!

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.

I understand you and it's not that I dislike it. It's just that I don't find it interesting anymore. But it was. It was absolutely brilliant!

This buildings are studied in a way that when earthquake shakes them, they become orthogonal...

It really is expecting an earthquake so it get's finished.

interesting design , not my cup of tea I'm more of a mid-century modern kind of guy. found the comments about what the bricklayers must have thought somewhat funny. when I worked in the construction industry 20 odd years ago masons were paid by the number of blocks of bricks they laid in a day. yes in my part of the U.S. the masons would not have been happy with this thing….
