Layer Control
-
I have a model with numerous layers. Is there a context menu plugin, this if I left click on a part, the part is highlight/selected, and then in the context menu, right clikc, a selection to turn whatever layer this part is on, to turn that layer off?
Such, that I left click, make selection, right click and select "turn layer off", and then that layer is turned off, alone with all object on this layer being turned off. Note, I don't want to hide the selection, I want to turn the selection's layer off.
Thanks for you time.

I looked at layer panel, all I could see it would highlight the layer the object was on, then allow me to turn off the layer. And that may be what I end up using, however, I just wanted two clicks.
Thank you for your reply.

Use Didier's Layer Manager, there is an icon "hide layers of selection" in the toobar...I use it all the time.

I have Didier's Layer Manager, however, it does not seem to work in V 2015. No selection on the menu bar works.
Thanks for you reply

You need to change one line of code at the end of some of Didier's scripts to work with 2014 and 2015, unfortunately I don't remember what that small change was. Message Tig, I think he suggested the easy fix.

Thanks, I'll do a search, I am almost sure I saw something about that, now that you reminded me.
Thanks for the reply.
