when attempting to open a .rb plugin the following error message appears (This does not appear to be a sketchup model). This holds true for any plugin file in the plugin folder. Sure would like to get this straightened out Jim

        hi

.rb file don't open the way your trying, they are plain text, written in ruby that SU can 'load' as it starts running, but not if your trying to 'open with' SketchUp...

if for some reason you want to read the content of a .rb file, you need to 'open with' a text editor...

if it's in the Plugins folder, SU will load it on startup...

Thanks John for your reply. my main problem was the inability to get the plugin into s/u plugin extension window, (there was no install extension button.) I finally found a s/u 8 m2 update and now works fine. Jim
