I'm trying to import this dwg file in sketchup but it doesn't get imported the way it should be. However, on exploding the blocks in autocad and then saving the file, the import is successful in sketchup. What is wrong with my file?

      for forums.dwg

I can open in CAD but not SU. When I import from CAD to SU the process is very slow and the scale seems off. That may be the issue, the CAD file scale might be off. the trees drip line looks to be 98 fee across--but I have no knowledge of the original file or units. Check the scale in the CAD file.
Anyway exploding the blocks is a good idea.
