So here i was replacing plugins (extensions) into my copy of SU Pro 2015 from the SketchUcation toolbar within SU 2015 when it crashed (SU). SU2015 now crashes when I open it. I tried rebooting - no Joy.

      I am running windows 7 64 bit.

      Ideas?

Do you remember what plugin you were installing when it crashed?

To see if it is a plugin problem rename the plugins folder to pluginstest. If SU now opens then you know there is a problem plugin. Try removing the last one you installed, remove test from the folder name and try again.

when working through this change over you need to install a plugin and then restart sketchup and then try the plugin.

It helps to have the ruby console open so you can see if anything is going wrong.

try looking at the dates on your plugins and when they were made or edited. you need to delete or remove the last plugin you added or if you added a bunch at one time, in between restarts you might need to remove a few.

you can always pull out all the plugins and add them back in small groups, restarting until you find the culprit.

When you find it... Let us know which one it is here.

Ok guys this is embarrassing - I can't find the location of the plugins/extensions folder in SU2015. The file structure seems to have changed considerably in this release. I am running windows 7.

            Thanks

                  It's been moved to
                  C:\Users\YouUserName\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015\SketchUp\Plugins

Your system may have it hidden, so if you can't find it turn on hidden files.
