When I'm in Layout and click on File, Insert, my SketchUp files are greyed out and I cannot click on them. I'm thinking this problem is really something small but I can't seem to figure out why this is happening. I've even sent my file to Layout while in Sketchup and still, cannot load the same file again while in layout due to being greyed out.

Are you sure they are not 2014 files you're trying to open with 2013 Layout? I've not had this issue. Can you give me a step by step example I can try to recreate?

When I try to insert a 2014 file into 2013 layout I get this error, but the file is not greyed out and I am able to choose it.

Edit: Oh... You're on a Mac... Might need someone with a Mac to help.

Yes, I'm on a Mac. I've been working all night trying to find a solution. Still no luck. The files are in 2013 SketchUp and 2013 Layout.

I'm not Mac and use layout infrequently so it's just a guess.

Check that you aren't on a locked layer when trying to access the files.
