I need to place a structure into a location on a golf course. Unfortunately, there are not any existing structures in area to align the axis in Photo Match. Does anyone have any suggestions on something that I can put into the landscape before I take a picture that will allow me to determine the vanishing axis and scale in photo?

I am sure that many have done it, I just can't figure out the correct terms to Google to find a solution. Thank you in advance for help.

You can try it without photomatch, model your structure and try to and use a perspective that matches the photo. You can combine them with a photo editing program afterwards.

You could mark corners of the object on site before making a photo, just for help...In the case when there is no orthogonal lines, I would use that photo as watermark image in SU (under style). You can adjust your view of the model to match the watermark background, which stays fixed while rotating the view. Later on, you can use it in render application as background.
