Need help finding a plugin!

Hi all,
I am currently making a curved surface, this surface has to be divided into vertical segments of 200mm wide. The only way to do this is to drape a raster onto the surface, but this leaves many openings in it. I was wondering if you guys know any plugin that can divide/ split my curved surface into 200mm segments!? I've added a picture to show you what I mean.

You can create some vertical faces and intersect them with the surface without the need for a plugin.
