i'm not yet testing in Mac but this error is from ruby function.
You can test this version -

I suppose if this could be adapted to be non-destructive to the original geometry (it wouldn't do any slicing), then user could draw quick section planes.

I think that is like RichSection plugin and Slap plugin.
My plugin is like Zorro,to be destructive to the original geometry. -

Sorry,link on SketchUcation store had expired.
You have to install (trial or purchase) direct from Sketchup: Menu - Windows -> Extension WareHouse

Sure i can make an horizontal Detach or cut more! but...

my slice is very sharp,it can detach a face to 2 faces.
This is special case.I will try fix it. -
S4USlice is enabled and activated but when I try to use it I get the License Expired error.
Extension Warehouse lists it in my extensions as enabled.This is the second time I've gone through this rain dance
