I suppose if this could be adapted to be non-destructive to the original geometry (it wouldn't do any slicing), then user could draw quick section planes.

I think that is like RichSection plugin and Slap plugin.
My plugin is like Zorro,to be destructive to the original geometry.

Just installed s4u_slice more than one time and it keep saying "please update new version".

You have to install (trial or purchase) direct from Sketchup: Menu - Windows -> Extension WareHouse

Sure i can make an horizontal Detach or cut more! but...

my slice is very sharp,it can detach a face to 2 faces.
This is special case.I will try fix it.

S4USlice is enabled and activated but when I try to use it I get the License Expired error.
Extension Warehouse lists it in my extensions as enabled.

This is the second time I've gone through this rain dance

Are you going to attempt to find out? It would be nice if an extension I paid for would not be identified as expired.

Extension Warehouse identifies Slice as enabled, but when used Slice is shown as expired.

Hi. Congratulation on making one of the most useful Sketchup plugins.

I have an idea to make it twice time useful ...simply by adding inverse function. So it could not only trim SU geometry, but also extend it using the same logic in picking 2 point lines, faces or 3 point faces...

Even more useful would be possibility to select a few faces, or curved surface as an "edge" for trimming, or extending.

It would be powerful feature.
