Does anybody know of a way to move both objects and scene views together to the origin.

I have a model that somebody else was working on before, and they changed the axis thinking this would fix an origin location problem.

They then proceeded to make a scene camera path for an animation of 37 scenes.

I'm now at the end of a long process and everything is going wrong while I was trying to render the animation. I unmasked the origin problem, but would like to avoid having to re-do all of the scenes when I move the model back to the origin.

      Is there a faster way?

I've tried re-creating the cameras using the advanced camera tools, but the tool was not behaving as expected. I think the camera tool may also be affected by the distance from the origin.

Any other ideas? Are there any rubies out there that might help?

            Hello:
I only read a little bit of this thread, but it seems to talk about your issue.
See if it will help with your model scenes.

Yes, I read through that post prior to posting this, but from what I read, it's not actually moving the origin in the model, just georeferencing the origin in GE.

Re-referencing the geolocation would not solve the main issue that I'm experiencing with the model being so far from the origin, which is that many Ruby scripts fail.

Well this is not a direct answer to your question but is one that "could" solve your problem.

I'm not much into animations, however, I read somewhere here of a plugin that can create a spline for animation path and can importa another spline as animation path.

If that is indeed the case, you can generate the path for the first animation, then place it in the origin, and generate the new animation... I hope you're able to fix it and if you do, please share your solution.

EDIT: Well there is a path for sure in Key animation, but I don know about generating a path from existing scenes. I don't even know if the Key animation path is actual geometry... Maybe you can speed up your animation recreation with it though...

There are other animation plugins. Maybe one could do the trick.
