Just saw this announced today, and i have to admit im very impressed, http://www.wacom.com/en/de/creative/intuos-creative-stylus
Iwas tempted to buy the Cintiq Companion yesterday to make my life easier when it comes to texturing my creations but the price tag was €1200, then this poped up today and is only
€99,90, an iPad retails at around €500 so do the math, €600 Vs €1200.

So what ye all think, is it worth it?

Keep in mind the Samsung Galaxy Tablets with SPen.
I believe they are cheaper than an Ipad and you don't need to buy the wacom pen.
I have a Galaxy Note 3 and it is excellent for sketching, the tablet size would be even better although less portable.

Have you ever used the Galaxy Note to texture a model ?

In the sense of putting together jpg and png to use on models, Yes all the time, I use it a lot for image manipulation, sketching etc as it's easy to hand and software is cheap and powerful. I can create what I want wherever I am simply using the pen and dropbox it straight to my PC to add to a model.
But I'm always on the move and have to throw things together on the fly so it suits my workflow.
However, I would love to have Rich's toy.

That does look good, I'm now blocking any and all wacom related websites before I end up in bankruptcy court.

This one is not so bad for a simple PC or MAC Computer with any big screen(s)! πŸ˜‰
And you can use crazzy free prog like Verve! (PC) 😎
(with 60 tilt levels of the rotation of brush)
Sure it's not easy to use it in fresh air! You must stay at home! πŸ˜„

                            Frenchy Pilou

Not bad, but having a screen to draw on seems to have a huge advantage, and i must admit i do a lot on the move so having the table version was a must.
