How to get building outer shell?

after i union walls and roofs ,i get a solid as picture.but it has a interior ,and i just want the outer shell.what should i do?
i don't want to delete them by myself.is there any convient way?

Sorry, but you should have a look at the basic tools.
There are many helpful hints in the user's guide.

If the inner part is truly separate you can triple click it and delete. As you say it is a solid,I assume that it is separate.
