Yazd , Old alley
-
Yazd is located in central Iran, surrounded by deserts and has an amazing architecture.
Here is a model and render based on my memories of Yazd "Chehel mehrab mosque" alley . Not the same s the reality , but near enough to be acceptable IMO. hope you like it.

Seems you have a good memory!

Very photo realistic renders. Look genuine.

same scene, almost same settings, Thea render
-
Very nice render, Majid.
On suggestion: I would try to make the textures less repetitive. It is a minor thing, but it will make your renders more realistic and believable.
Cheers!

Do you happen to know the purpose of the open arches, except that they look cool?
-
It has an structural purpose . It usually makes structural connection between two neighbors. You know, the house is covered by arches and arches has side forces...

Hahaha, Thank you Bryan

After several years recently visited Yazd , a 4 hours trip from Isfahan to Yazd , and take photo from real location, obviously there are differences between my render and the reality.
In fact I prepared this render to mention the "bump map" used in my e-book that is about V-Ray for sketchup and is now available on the shop here:

I hope this would be a great product for hose who are new to V-Ray and are interested in learning V-Ray with no time wasting.
