I have upgraded to 2014 from 2013. I am unable to get the stl import export plugins to work. I have auto installed but with no success. The plugin manager shows su2stl is loaded but it is not present in the menu. The stl import/export v2 from the plugin store does not show up as present.

HAVE YOU CHECKED UNDER THE FILE DROP DOWN VS PLUGIN?

yes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Deleted v2013 and all associated folders.

Install SketchUp STL using the Extensions Warehouse instead of su2stl.rb from the Plugins Store. The Extensions Warehouse in under the Window menu in SketchUp.

I did as you suggested. Nothing happens. I downladed it. It does not appear in the plugin manager or under extensions to install

Have you used this stl exporter instead? Works better for me, not tried installing in 2014 though.

The other one didn't work for me on mac v8, not sure why. The stl mm exporter just worked straight away and in the units I need.
