This gotta be an easy question for some of you "Pro's".

Been using SU versions all the way up to SUv8.0.16845, which I currently use.

I've been reluctant to buy into the new SU's 2013 or 2014 until someone told me that l should because I'll get left in the "dust" if I don't.

So I did,,,, I installed SU-Make 2014.... used up the "painful" 8 hour Pro test and now have this question:

How do I make my SUv8 my default version for files when I launch one of them from their file folder? Every time I open my file folder and click on a 'skp' file SU2014 fires up. I don't want that. I want SUv8 to launch the file. By the way, all my files are SUv8 and I am not converting them to SU14 yet.

My computer is an Apple iMac 24, late 2007, maxed on RAM, OSX 10.7.5, great machine. I am a woodworker and my files / drawings are for furniture plans and SU v8 has and is really great!!

(I don't think I'll say anything about SU14 now... I'll play with it for a while longer. After all, I am late to the party.....)

      Thanks........................

right click on any skp, select 'Get Info', in the 'open with' drop-down choose SketchUp v8, then click 'change all'
