Hello. I don't know how to describe it, but i'm looking for a plugin or method to create this type of shape

      http://arianvacuum.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/76.jpg

i can create a simple pipe/hose shape with a line and 'follow me' tool. but i'm also looking to have those grooves or what they're called along the hose. any suggestions?

You might need to use lines to tubes (or just a normal follow-me) and then component stringer for the grooved sections. 👍

May be able to do all of it with component stringer but having a tube inside may look more continuous.

By using components you will have a much more fluid and low file-size model instead of just using pure geometry.
