PLUG-IN WISH : MERGE FACE TEXTURE

Dear plug-in masters,
I would like to express my idea for a plug-in.A TEXTURE PLUGIN . There might already be a plugin like this that Im not aware of but it’s like this.
This is going to do the following:
Combine or merge the texture in a face- For example I have face with say 10 x 4 repeating pattern. I can right click on that face and save the texture as new consolidated texture.
With that being one texture, I can modify in photoshop, say add dirt, recolor some areas to break the noticeable pattern etc. If Ill be able to do this then, never again will I see a flat looking plain wall or ugly repeats.My work around for now, is to cut a tiny area in the corner, paint it with another material and then “combine texture”, and cover that tiny bit in photoshop . But I wish I don’t have to go that path.
For now, its just one face, but I would really love to see the same function in multiple faces, even non coplanar faces.Then this might be the start of UV unwrap.
