ACAD Export 2014 and 2013
-
Not sure if this is a bug. If I export ACAD in 2014, the ending ACAD file shows hidden lines, if I export the same model in 2013, I don't see hidden lines.
Now, as far as I can see the export options are set the same.
See the attached png images, a screen copy of the exported ACAD files of the same model and same settings.
So is this a bug or am I missing something?

OK, bringing this subject up again.
OK, TomTom you mentioned in another post that you didn't understand my problem about exporting to CAD in SU 2014. So here is some more info.
It appears that my model of a buoy-wire-chain will not export in SU 2014 without showing hidden lines as shown in the attached PDF. However, if I hid the buoy, SU 2014 will export correctly, not showing the hidden lines.
Note, that SU 2013 will export the model with the buoy in the model correctly.
So there is something in the buoy model that is preventing SU 2014 from correctly exporting to CAD.
Attached also is the model in SU 2014. I sent this problem to Trimble, haven't gotten a response from them as of today. I know they are busy. However, you did express an interest in the problem.
Now, making model of underwater equipment and exporting them to other CAD drawing is what I do, and this put the brakes on my work the last couple of days.
TomTom thanks in advance for looking at this problem.

I've only just experienced the same issue in my current project. Using SketchUp 2014 Pro, exporting as a 2D graphic into AutoCad 2011.
I started working through the 9 rooms in my project, first some rooms with just a straight run of cabinets, which imported perfectly from SU into AutoCad. Then, I got to this printer room and although it displays the scene perfectly in SU before exporting, in AutoCad it shows the graphic complete with all hidden line geometry... what's up with that?!
![Correct elevation in SU, done in a "HiddenLine" style scene](/uploads/imported_attachments/1jP2_Capture1.JPG "Correct elevation in SU, done in a "HiddenLine" style scene")
Have started hiding geometry, one-by-one, to see if it's a "Buoy box" effect like you're finsing. Also attempted saving original SU file as a 2013, and also in SU 8, but didn't change the outcome in AutoCad.

Having the same problem, how can I fix it?
