        Thanks guys!

        @ pbacot
The image is rendered only with corona, the sketchup model is exported to blender and then rendered in corona via an exporter blender/corona, thanks Im glad u like it

        @ andybot
Corona renderer is a plugin for 3d max, but there is a guy who wrote an exporter for blender, I just started to test corona 1 week ago and im quite happy with its results, thanks for comments

It's the first time I hear of Corona. I'll check it out.

Thanks, are you using corona with 3d max? I agree with u, corona is easy, fast and great results

                  @Ken28875
Thanks, corona is especially a plugin for 3d max, but now there is an expoter for blender

                    Hi Novena,

I use both 3Dsmax and Blender plugin, 3dsmax has alot of option but I prefer Blender because its awesome and very cool. πŸ˜„

thanks Allan for your answer, I have not tried corona with 3D max. you are right, corona within blender is quite limited but working with blender is very cool...

Impressive works! Congratulations! I'm totally new to Corona, but do you think there's a way to export from sketchup directly to the Corona Standalone software, without passing through Blender? Could be a silly question, because I don't really know how the standalone works

                        Thanks!

                          Hey archbit88!
thanks for your comment, I'm affraid that it is not possible to export from SketchUp to Corona Standalone, cause it does not exist an exporter...
                          I use this exporter here:

Does you must have 3DMax for install the Corona Stand alone, or it's really a Standalone?

Ok thanks a lot! I am a Cinema4d user (and sketchup modeler) but I was thinking about migrating to Blender. I will see. Do you acutally think they are going to develop the standalone version in the future or they will be more interested in developing the 3ds/cinema/big-commercial-softwares versions? Because I heard the standalone lacks some important features at the moment (for example, if you're putting a texture into a material and you want to slightly change the saturation you have to do that with another software, therefore saving another texture, then coming back to corona...)
If you are a max user I guess you can understand me well πŸ˜‰

                              thanks!

                                pilou,
3D max is not needed in order to use Corona Standalone, I use it with Blender and the Corona render exporter (mentioned in my comment above), but the standalone is quite limited compared to the plugin for 3D max...

                                archbit88,
you are welcome! I do all the modelling in Sketchup and then export to blender when it is the case that I'm using Corona (I am more a SU modeler and a Maxwellian), the good news for you is Corona for Cinema 4D is the next in line...
                                https://corona-renderer.com/corona-alpha-v1-2-for-cinema4d/

you heard well, you can not for example change saturation of a texture, the standalone is quite limited, but still you can get great results out of it, in a very short render time πŸ˜„

beside 3D max and now C4D, seems that they are not interested to start integration with other package soon... they currently have a poll, which 3D soft to integrate next, and SU is ranked 3rd right now
