Stumped ProfileBuilder pro
-
I haven't used my PB Pro for a bit. Now I can't seem to create new profiles. I choose a face and give a name but don't find the profile in the current library. So I am looking for information on the process (user manual) and I can't find anything on it. Moreover I can't find anything on PB Pro, only PB free. As I recall you can't add profiles in the free version--however this is not said anywhere either, that I've found.
There is mention of PB Pro in the Free thread but no link and I can't find it on sMustard.
Haven't changed anything in my system for a long time. Using v.8 where it always worked before.

have you tried http://www.smustard.com/script/ProfileBuilder which has a link for the manual?

Profile Builder is the Pro version. It's not actually called Pro. the free version however is named ProfilebuilderFree.
Here's the Pro version link.
And here is the free version.
I just tested and mine saves profiles. however I am on the 'Pro' version...

Thanks, I found it. Thought I deleted this. Also found the manual. Still having the problem though. Emailed Dale.

I poked around and found that every file in the Profile builder folder had permissions changed to read only. Don't know how. So now I can save in a library after I change the permissions. Looking for a way to change permissions to all my libraries (in one action) and wonder where else this has happened.
Back in the saddle. When you want this plugin, you really want it. I know ... people can do anything without plugins but this is so much better--especially not having to place your trim mixed with elemental entities--as in the regular follow me.

there was something like a java update? if I remember. a file that needed to be updated, but I thought that was for 2013.
I called it Java again... Thomthom is gonna kill me. Javascript.
It's in this thread.

I think you can set permissions on the entire sketchup folder at once.

I did the whole ProfileBuilder Library folder but that didn't make every library file accessible.
