No I cannot as my licence is with 4.04 pro.
Are you saying you cannot import from SU into Lumion with free version?
-
I don't try but it's writed

Lumion Free does not include grass, SketchUp file import and all the other Lumion 4 functionality and content.
So I suppose there only this model inside for play with it ? Or Maybe other format import ?
I had old free version and all was possible but my old computer is burned!
And the Copy/ Past on the new computer works not! -
Ah, it means it does not direct import from SU, you can still export .dae, obj or 3ds and import into Lumion.
-
If yes that is true cool!

Go get the Demo Fredrick... Lumion is super easy to work with and it makes you look like a 3D superstar... Outrageously expensive though.

But I've already spend a lot of money on new software the past month...
(LightUp, Pano2VR and some other apps - not directly related to 3D)Besides... If I think about it, I might only get a project or two per year, where such animations would fit into the budget, and since it is quote: "Outrageously expensive", I assume I'm better off if I hired Pete for such a task...
(and I don't need to learn another tool... )The beauty of having a 3D Viz business is the network you have...

$4000 or so last time I saw...

Yep... 3.000,00 EUR...
I'm not saying it's not worth the money, however, you do need to have the clients that want/request such animations before you can justify such an investment... -
True dat homie... and I have none..
-
And here lays the catch 22, you need animations to show clients you can do animations, so do you buy it to learn and create animations for portfolio or wait until client requests animation and learn under pressure on the job?
-
That's true, Pete...
I suppose that if I show such an animation for some of my clients, they'd be interested - until they hear the price for a 1 minute animation...However, I'm also sure that I will have some clients who are interested and also have the money...
I just don't have anything to show to them atm...
You also seem to have an issue with the animations you've posted on your website...

You also seem to have an issue with the animations you've posted on your website...Yeah, I need to fix that up, I never seem to get around to doing website stuff. I normally send clients animations that I cannot show in public as they are way better. Regarding pricing, for 1 minute of exterior animation it really is not as expensive as before with Lumion I could do it at a very reasonable price as I do not have long render times so my standard rate applies.
