I like the mood that you're setting in the animation.The only thing that keeps bugging me is the intensely pixelated rabbit and birds. I understand that the birds make it that cheesy that it becomes funny. I can relate to the loathing part at the end. I made a couple of animations in after affects where the soundtrack drives the animation. After completing the project I can't bare to hear the music anymore. After hearing Swedish House Maffia for the 1000 time I almost jumped out the window.
What software did you use to make the animation?

I'm so glad that you understood what I was trying to do with that animation...it would appear with the two 'thumbs down' on my Youtube ratings that some people just didn't get it
Which is slightly disheartening but hey, you can't win 'em all!!I thought the image quality of the birds was ok, but yes, the rabbit could have been better. Actually, my favourite cartoon character was the flying bird in the background!
You're so right about wanting to chuck the laptop out the window...towards the end I wanted to put my laptop in a headlock!! The only saving grace was The XX song - I love it. I certainly do not love the second song; it's one of those songs that infuriates you so much but once you hear it, you just can't stop singing it!!!
I got a much better overall response to my first animation of the light bulb, maybe I should just stick to more 'inspirational' and 'serious' animations!

Oops, I used Windows Movie Maker (I know, so basic but so effective!) but was heavily reliant on Photoshop to create the individual frames!
