More questions about the new Warehouse
-
I have tried to update one of my more recent models posted to Trimble's 3Dwarehouse and from the above image, I was expecting to have my initial posting of the Red Mario Kart in the second pane to have been overwritten by my edited posting.
What exactly might I have done incorrectly to have cause the warehouse to treat my edit as a new submission? I was under the impression that all skp files have a unique tag attatched to them that would allow easy editing and not affect any collections the model may have been a part of?
However when I've tried a direct copy and paste of models into the original file, and uploaded it, the original is still available for downloading...
This concerns me greatly as I have a popular older model which I would like to update, only now my fear is that by doing so, I can only hope that the collectors whom made my model a part of their series will collect my edited file.. I was hoping the edit to my simple kart models would have overwritten the original, but it clearly hasn't..
Any thougts on this matter is greatly appriciated!
