Hi, Guys! This is my first ever post. I've always found all the answers just by googling, but now I'm lost.

I'm trying to output a PDF file from Layout 8 using PDFcreator. The file will be printed elsewhere. My document is set to a specific paper size, 630x297 mm, three A4 sheets side by side (the Finnish standard is to use A4 multiplies). Everything is fine in Layout and scaled correctly.

However, when I print this using PDFcreator I end up with an A4-ish looking, wrongfully scaled PDF file. What is the problem?

I tried setting a custom paper size in PDFcreators preferences, you know right before printing. I was able to set the paper size, but nothing was actually affected by this change. Also, in Layout's PAGE SETUP -menu I selected something like "custom size (postscript)" but that didn't work either.

What is the correct way around this?

      Thanks in advance!

      -Ville

PS: I'm using Finnish Windows Vista, so I can't provide accurate translations of all the menus etc.

I actually found a rather simple solution: File - Export - PDF... And that's it! No separate printing software needed.

The answer was right in front of me all along!

I read your question, before I saw your second answer...
          You're absolutely correct...
With LO there's no need for a separate PDF-creation/printing software is needed...

Glad you found the solution... πŸ‘

          Cheers
