Need plugin that erase orbit tool and replace by pan tool

Hi all,
sometimes i use SU like a in 2D Autocad drawing (work on the top view).
in Autocad : i push the middle mouse button to pan, and combine middlle mouse button + control to orbit (so like autodesk ROBOT).
SU works exactly on the contrary.
what i need is a plugin, that, when is activate, make SU works like Autocad and when it s desactived, go back to normal SU tools.
Anybody knows about such of plugin ? -
You can press "H" key to activate PanTool.
Or SHIFT+MiddleMouseButton, release SHIFT key and OrbitTool.
The Ruby API does not allow intercepting keys sent to the application window. Sorry.
The MiddleMouseButton right-click context menu setting does not stay as selected if you choose Pan.It is like this at least back to SketchUp 8.
What platform are you using? PC or Mac ?

You say that it is not possible to overwrite the assignation of the middle button ?

I tried using Microsoft IntelliPoint... but it did NOT work.
