      Hi everybody :

Is there a "standard" for installing plugins into Sketchup 8 ? I notice some plugins will "slide" right in. Others won't install. And documentation is ususlly not standardized. Meaning, that all documentation should list the same required information for each plugin....which version of Sketchup is compatible.....where the downloaded plugin should be placed....and which folder Sketchup should install the plugin from. Right now, it's just hit-and-miss. Some plugins might install, others might not, there's no way to know for sure. That's where "standardization" steps in.
