Import cameras from 3DS file ?

Hi everybody.
I'd like to import all cameras (scenes), from a 3DS file. How can I do that ? When I import the file in sketchup8, I only get the geometry... But when I open it in MAX, I can see all the cameras...
I'm working on files with dozens of cameras, and I don't want to set them one by one... Is it there a plugin, or something else that could help ?nb : the 3DS file was saved from an archicad16 3D model.
