This may exist or it may be impossible, but anyone know if its possible to make a style that fades out the materials, but preserves the linework?? I made this one with just a white watermark but it also fades out the lines. Thanks.

You can't really do that in a single style. Instead export and image with the faded style or whatever you want to do without the lines displayed. Then do a simple Hidden Line export with white background and no shadows. Combine them in an image editor. Put the lines image on a layer above the other and set that layer to Multiply. I do similar things very frequently.

Here's an example in which I made the faces only export with fog turned on but the Hidden Line export without fog.

Thanks Dave, that's my go to method as well. I'm trying to learn layout and having issues layering viewports. I think I might just update the textures and fade them manually. Thanks for the input!

You're welcome. What sort of difficulty are you having with layering viewports?

Trying to overlay line work over top of a textured viewport, i have to make it a vector, right? When I do this on my elevations there seems to be an issue and 90% of the lines disappear.

That's weird. I wonder what's going on with the lines disappearing.

Yes, in order to see the textures underneath you would need to render the Hidden Line viewport as Vector.

                  Thanks for confirming that.

I've come across a few people with similar problems. There's a lot of lines so I'm guessing its information overload. Thanks for chiming in. I'm going to edit the textures, might end up simpler anyway. Less viewports.
