      Hi.

Had Revizto for a few weeks now. Loving it, but the only problem is when inside the actual program I cannot see anything? just a black screen. Tried creating light maps and sun settings which came up nothing...

My model is uploaded on the cloud and the blackscreen photo on the file is what I currently see.

Hope this can be solved. It's probably something really easy... 😞

      Thanks!
      Scott.

EDIT : The viewer works perfect. I can move around and select objects et cetera.

Revizto is GPU based... try updating your video card driver. What card are you using and what are your system specs?

Could you please describe in more details your problem (step by step)?
However it is really could be a problem with drivers of video card or in worst case - outdated video card.

            Hi Scott,

Most likely the reason of the problem is outdated graphics driver. You should try to install the latest one. Be aware, that drivers that are coming through Windows update are usually irrelevant, so you'll have to visit the website of your graphics card manufacturer to get it (or your laptop manufacturer, if you have a laptop).

However, it is possible that your graphics card is just too old to run Revizto. Revizto requires support of OpenGL 2.1 with multiple render targets from your graphics card. If the driver solution doesn't help you, please tell what grahics card is installed on your system (or exact laptop model, if you have a laptop).

Revizto Viewer uses different rendering tools, that's why it is possible that it works fine with outdated drivers or old graphics card.

            Hope this helps.

            Regards,
            Alexey

              Ahh!

Thanks for the replies guys... I have an Acer Aspire 5733 laptop 😞

Will continue to use viewer though as It's still a great piece of software.

              Scott.

                  Hi Scott,

Your hardware looks to be at edge of compatibility. I've checked Acer website for graphics drivers for your laptop, and here is the link:

                  http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/VGA/VGA_Intel_8.15.10.2182_W7x86W7x64_A.zip?acerid=634406173306015842&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=ASPIRE&Step3=ASPIRE%205733&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6

Please try to install this driver and tell whether this helps.

Oh, I did not try that one.

I tried a different one and because that had not worked I left it that that.

Thank you Alexey I shall post with results soon!

                      😞

Sadly the link gives me drivers that are older than the current ones installed on my laptop. Oh well. Still a great piece of software

Thank you Kris and Alexey for the replies.
                      Scott.
