Exporting Vector from Layout to SketchUp

Exporting Vector from Layout to SketchUp. Shouldn't this be direct? As it is, I have to export to DWG and then Import to SU... SU goes directly to Layout but not backwards; most roads are two ways... At least I can get it there.

Yes I agree as I have been tempted to use LO for space planning.
What would you use it for?

I'll end up doing some line work, a section, or something to the effect and would like to take that work and expand upon it in 3D... also it makes it easier to scale large groups of layout groups. Which does not really work properly in LO.
