Found this in my snooping today.

200 drawings, models and photographs from the collection of The New Institute will be on show this autumn at the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. Together with several items on loan from contemporary architectural firms, they will form the exhibition Architecture the Dutch Way 1945-2000 which is about the design of the Netherlands after the Second World War. On Flickr Commons we present a selection of pieces that will be leaving for Russia in early September.

My grandchildren possess more artistic skills worthy to be displayed on my Fridge.
I can't see how this Crap deserves to be displayed in a public place.

The artist has obviously never looked at a picture of wood grain, much less try to draw wood grain. Knows nothing of how to construct a One point perspective to scale, using a plan view. Has never looked at human outline figure before drawing it. Why would he or she spend time using straight lines and pencil for such a child like drawing. all that's missing is the sun in the upper right corner. 😄

          My suggestion to the artist
If you can't draw, try practicing your freehand skills on a table napkin, first.
also have a look at some of FLW's sketches.

Tomot, why are you holding back?

Obviously you didn't look at the images to which I linked. 😒 I can think of a number of famous artists whose styles weren't much different from the image you're complaining about.

And this sketch may have been simply an attempt to record a concept on which the architect based his final design, not intending it for publication.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.
