Hello all, long time viewer here, first time poster!

Do you guy and gals know of any extension that allows me to do the following:

Image drawing out columns for a building and then taking the circle tool and as you extend the circle past the columns, they will collide and you will get breaks in your circle. It's almost as if you were standing in the middle of the circle and you were seeing your field of view from the top-down view.

Right now, I have to extend lines from the center of the circle, past the intersecting point and delete the space "behind" the columns (or other object).

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    John

      Hi there, John:
Perhaps if you could post an image or a .skp of your issue, folks might be able to better visualize a solution.
Just as a start, are you making components or groups of your columns, so that they do not interact or affect the circle? Are you specifying the number of segments in the circle or using the program default? Do you use guidelines?

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.
