      hi,

i have a relatively big scene with relatively many materials (around 30) and all of them are showing up in material editor as assigned to something. however, i don't believe that i actually use all of them in my renders; is there any way to find out to which object is a specific material assigned?

      I'm using SketchUp 2017, V-Ray 3.4

There's a plugin called Material Maintenance by Myhand. I use it daily, and if I understand what you need out of it, it'll do exactly what you need.

        Hope that helps!
