I am in Hungary, Kim, part of the EU for a while. But indeed, Croatia becoming another EU member is good for all its neighbours.

And yes, Fletch spotted a very nice place in Croatia; Rovinj (if I am not mistaken)

Think I got carried away... I know that you're in Hungary, but I read some news about Croatia being a member of EU since yesterday and thought it was what you were referring to...

If it's any consolation, my brother in law has a girlfriend from Hungary... They live in Luxembourg...

Democracy is going down the drain. Not only here in this thread, but even European policians don't dare to open their mouth (Dutch included!) about what the US (and Obama approving it) is doing.
Hé, remember a few weeks ago,..... Obama in Berlin trying to make impression: "Hey, blablabla,....we can take off our jackets, we are among friends". Friend? What friends? According to Europeans you are spying on us! Is that what friends do??????

Europe is still a buch of different countries, each trying to go its own way.
