      Hi!
I've created a wire frame model in SU of an object (cube) that has an internal void (hollow) inside of it. If I convert this to an .stl file and try to print it, is it possible to only infill the area between the internal void and the surface of the cube? Or will the whole thing get infilled? Or, because there are internal surfaces, will it not work as a solid at all?

Anybody know how to do this?

      Thanks!

Ask your printing company , some require a hole to let the powder out, some not .

Basically if you create two walls only the volume between them should print . As far as I know !

Can you tell us how you're printing?

It really depends on the machine you're printing with. Like Eli says, if its a print service like Shapeways, you need a hole connecting the void with the outside. However if you're using a desktop printer, you may not need the connecting hole.
