Smooth animation camera path similar to 3ds max

Hi there,
Would anyone know if there is an easy way to make a smooth path for a camera to run around? I am making a fly through of a building development (or part of one) and find the scene to scene method very clunky and awkward to manipulate. I have done many flythroughs in 3ds max as it is easy to move the camera into any position and along the timeline without having to look through the camera and to have a smooth run, add keyframes etc. I have tried many ruby scripts including CameraKeyMaker, SmoothAnimation and ProperAnimation, but find they still have too many constraints. (FOV problems etc.)I want to get an animation using the the styles in sketchup which is why I am not using 3ds max. If anyone knows a way of getting as close to sketchup style images in 3ds max that would also solve my problem too! (ink n paint is very slow and you cant get as good results as sketchup)

I am looking for the same thing. Even though I have the scene delay set to 0, SketchUp still pauses between the scenes. Kinda like a car coming to a stop sign - slow down, stop, speed up. Are there any plugins that will override this pausing?
