      Greetings,

I have a question regarding the texturing of a bottle I am modeling. I am at a lost when trying to place a .jpeg of a label around my model. I would like the image to wrap around the model entirely, however, every time I place the texture it gets broken up and distorted like such.

I used the Extrude Tools plugin to create the model from a side profile. Perhaps that has something to do with it? I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or advice with this issue?

      Many thanks,

      J

You can't always do it properly without some plugins. I would go with ThruPaint from Fredo's Tools http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=44552 .

For some other 'simple' surfaces you could try projecting the image-texture.

ely862me, I tried the method in the YouTube video above with no luck. I guess the shape was too "complex" for the procedure which I don't understand. Or perhaps it was an error on my behalf which is most likely the case. However, I did manage to find out about Fredo's Tools (Thru Paint in particular), at a moment of desperation last night and it worked GREAT. I was almost about to give up the label entirely. Anyway, I appreciate your response! Thank you very much.
