I want to produce a lot of "std" construction details based on component assemblies. These components might be textured (eg bricks) but I want some aspect of the texture to remain even when the textures are switched off; for instance when I want to create an elevation view as a black and white line drg, I might want there to be a graphic that indicates concrete or soil or hardcore/ woodgrain etc that remains. I would like to create a library of such graphics and then apply to selected surfaces. This is a std feature in Vectorworks and AutoCad, without it my standard elevations look flat and undistinguished.
I had thought that I need to drape drawn lines onto surfaces but this results in messy vertical projected lines down my surfaces (sort of like drips!)

    Any suggestions welcomed!

    Paul
