Approved new post timing.

Not a complaint or anything, just an observation.
I've noticed several times that the posts from new members tend to slip in quietly. By this I mean they appear in the forum at the "time" they are posted and not at the "time" they are approved. Usually it's not an issue but as I noticed today a post I would have replied to wasn't there when I read the post which was posted after it. I only bring it up as some post may slip through the crack, but I've no idea if it is even possible to reset the forum software to post them at their approved time.
As I said, no big deal just a quirk.

Approvals are done by admin/mods whenever they get the time.
Some are instant others may sit for a few hours because the content/member maybe questionable.
You were probably posting at a time that someone was approving and got caught in the middle.
I know of no way to control this...maybe Csaba has ideas?

I have no idea if it could be hacked to show a post time (and put it into that order in the topic) when it was approved. Well, better put: I could not hack the forum software to do this - probably nothing is impossible though.

It's no big deal guys, just something I noticed.
First became aware of it on the new post page when I had read everything then scrolled down and something new had appeared.
It just seems odd, that's all.By the way Rich, I worked out why my avatar never seems to get done. I realised I used a special texture on the little wooden men. Irish Oak. Ever since then things have fallen apart, I'm forever dragging them out of the pub, things go missing........

An irishman working for an Aussie.....yeah right

I realised my mistake when I said I dragged them out of the pub. An Oz leave a pub.....yeah right.
