I emailed Goh and asked him to add it... I tried using his hip roof face to framing and it almost works. I think it should be fairly easy to create. However I know nothing about ruby soooo...

That's house builder... It draws walls but doesn't build them from faces with windows and doors. it is pretty kool, I'm just extra lazy and it doesn't build proper corners.

I was querulous recently about something similar, a way to array battens on a face, though this is would be more complex. Would you use the framing in construction drawings. I'd be interested too.
I've done some framing models for more complex or unique structures, but the stud work was just for completing the picture. That is, in my CD's showing actual standard stud layout is never an issue, whereas the builder might want to do it for himself. I know of contractors who model all their own framing before building. -

some of his scripts already do the same thing just a little short of this though. -
Maybe Chuck "Instant" Vali can develop it? Seems maybe like instant wall.

Yes I've used that tool for some things... But it won't frame out the house. it would be easier just to edit his draw wall tool results.

Any word on this Kris? Housebuilder is so close. With Hip roofs it would be even better. I think someone added some code not long ago that centers the doors properly too.

Oh and before anyone starts going on about the corner it's just one I chose at random from the 8 or so exterior corners you have to choose from. Yeah... That's right... It does corners.
