My brain just exploded. very good work FA

All the rocks and foliage, was that all done within SU? Or did you use another program? I have been researching high and low for good realistic foliage that won't burden the computer. What I've found is Forest Pro or Grow FX but only for 3DS Max.

thank you, all foliage is photoshop (its more process friendly) except for aerials, rocks are done in Sketchup, cos max isnt nearly as much fun as sketchup.

Two things always amaze me about your work. Firstly, you manage to make the renderings so rich, and secondly your entourage always look so very real. You are one of very few who accomplish this.
                A real pleasure as always.

Nice to see you back here, Sean.

                  Top-notch architectural renders! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

Thanks for posting the before and after images. I always learn something new looking at them or images showing wire-frame models.

                  All the best,

Fantasmagorical. Not just good renders but the thought that has gone into placement of the entourage, people half in frame or at the edge, all things you get in real photos when the public are involved. I especially liked the car lights trail in the night shot of the house.
                    Thanks .

Free agent, I'm usually a silent observer over here but had to say, your images are beautiful! Why do you render on V-Ray for 3DS Max? What are the main limitations of V-Ray for Sketchup?

Artgrl: wow big question... there are a few reasons, the first one that come to mind would be concerning production, max/v-ray are production tools made for visual effects industry (so it facilitates all the intricacies of a profesional workflow)im sure Vray for sketchup is well on its way to becoming a comparative tool, sketchup cannot compair to max, it doesnt have to, nor does it want to ๐Ÿ˜„

Im not being very specific cos i dont want to rattle off a list of allll the things max can do that sketchup cant but if you just go look at a making of tutorial on evermotion that deals with rendering and post production, you will see why they use it.

another would be ram, vray for sketchup is tied down to sketchups 32bit-ness, so never mind the 16gigs of ram you might own...

srx: you only need 1 tip: practice ๐Ÿ˜„ but feel free to ask any questions, i would be glad to help/advise.
