I've been using sketchup for awhile and it's only been recently I found out it has shadow settings options besides just turn on and off but the window doesn't come up whenever I click on it.

I've tried re-installing, even went as far as reformatting my PC (I needed to anyways) and tried the it's just a resolution problem but the window is out of screen thing but it really is just not there.

I know than when you click a window option there is a check mark on its right side that says the window is open and it is true for all my other windows except shadows, but no matter how many times I've clicked on or restarted the program or PC, it doesn't come out like the other windows.

been googling this for awhile and I haven't seen a solution yet since most of the others problems were resolution related and mine seems to be not the case.

Under Window (menu in SU 😎 > Preferences > Workspace, there is a "Reset workspace" button which should (theoretically) bring all dialogs into the view.

tried this already, still didn't work. 😞

is there any other alternative, like a shadow plugin or something? T_T

            Hi Jericho, hi folks.

Have you tried: View Menu --> Toolbar --> Shadows?

            Just ideas.
