Hello to everyone, I'm writing to you from Italy and today I buy a milling machine CNC. The software included with the machine reads the file *.iso (I think there is another name for the G-code file....).
I use SU for my project and I wish be able to transfer my jobs to the CNC. I don't know very well English so please, can you help me to find some plugin to transfer the drawing from SU to CNC?
I just try a plugin called Model2Gcode but at the moment there are still problems...
There is anybody that works whit SU and a CNC milling machine?
      Thank you for your patience....

My machine is made by "Lari&Lari", an italian factory specialized in woodworking machines.
The model is called PIKO and it have a work table of cm. 80 x cm. 50. The Z axe is cm. 10.
I wish use it to made little parts for my principal job, restoration of old fornitures.
If there are any people that use a similar machine please, contact me to exchange experiences.....

Do you have an example of a .iso file? What is te file size? If you open the .iso file in a text editor, can you read it?

A .iso file in my experience is a a cdrom image file for writing to a cdrom disc.

            Hi

Hi Jim, the file *.iso that is used in this machine are like the Gcode. It's true that normally the ISO files are images of a disk, ready to copy in a CD but in this case are only text file with a list of command....
I put an example of file ISO...

have you reached out to the manufacturer to get the file specifications - gcode version # etc? they should know what version of the file, formats etc is needed for their machines...
